Fraud charge for former Mason
A Hailsham man has been charged with fraud by abuse of position and false accounting.
Stewart Rutter, of London Road, is alleged to have committed the offences while he was treasurer of the Tilsmore Masonic Lodge in Burwash Weald.
The 72-year-old has been bailed to appear at Eastbourne Magistrates’ Court on November 1.
