Free festival of dance and sport for Peacehaven

A FREE community festival featuring sport and dance will be staged in Peacehaven on Saturday July 30.

Lark in the Park in Piddinghoe Sports Park will include stalls, fire engines and a free creche for under 8s.

Organisers are also looking for 20 people to take part in a cycling workshop and performance.

They will work with The Dance of Cycling team to create a simple routine on bikes which will be performed at the event.

The free workshop will run from 11am to 1pm on July 30 at Piddinghoe Sports Park.

The 25 minute performances will take place at 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

No experience in dance is necessary, only a level of cycling proficiency.

The routine will be based on participants’ ideas and skills, performed to music and directed by the team.

All ages welcome, but under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.

People must bring their own bike and wear comfortable black clothing for the performance.

To book a place contact Jackie on 01273 484394.
