MOTORING enthusiasts roared into Hellingly for the annual Festival of Transport last weekend.

The Broad Farm venue saw more then 400 classic cars on display.

There were also 33 steam vehicles and other types of vehicles.

Around 120 trade stalls jostled for customers.

John Bishop, festival secretary, said: 'It is a transport orientated show with an emphasis on steam vehicles.

'We get people bringing vehicles from the home counties and the south east of England.

'It is a well established event and it has been running for 33 years.'

A Maltese media company were present, making a special programme for the Discovery Channel.

The venue also witnessed a special church service on Sunday morning.
