GALLERY: Polegate School English Summer fete
A TRADITIONAL English Summer fete was enjoyed by revellers at Polegate School on Saturday (June 27).
All sorts of stalls and sideshows were enjoyed by the crowds under a theme of 'Great Britons'.
People enjoyed a mini steam railway, all sorts of cakes and sweet treats, and bounced on some big inflatables.
Hunger was soon appeased with a sumptuous barbecue and there was a licenced bar.
Stronger types also pitted their strength against each other in a ferocious giant tug-o-war.
The fete was opened by the Mayor of Polegate, Cllr Steve Barber.
