There are 60,000 unpaid carers in East Sussex and three in five people will become a carer at some point in their lives, the Association of Carers says.

The association needs to recruit 70 volunteers by August this year. If you would like to volunteer pop along to the charity’s coffee morning on Tuesday (February 4) at Hailsham Town Council.

If you are a carer and would like to find out more about the services, please call the charity on 0300 330 9498.
