Health and safety event to be opened by Newhaven mayor

Mayor of Newhaven Graham Amy will officially open a health and safety event at Tennyson Suite in Newhaven Enterprise Centre on Monday March 18 at 11am.
Health and safety consultants Tennyson Suite is staging a showcase to introduce the benefits of good health and safety practices to business.
There will be chances to find faults in a scaffold, test your health and safety knowledge and enter a competition to win First Aid for Mums and Dads sessions.
And there will be free information courses, certified health and safety courses and accredited specialist training for business, tradesmen and professionals.
Students from universities, colleges and schools thinking of a career in construction are particularly invited to attend the showcase on Denton Island which finishes at the end of June.
Director of Tennyson Suite Tom Lawrence said: “Our intention with this showcase is to show the hidden benefits of health and safety plus demonstrate the fun side of the industry so please come along and see how important we take your safety and security.”
