Hospice charity shop burglary

COLD HEARTED thieves broke into a hospice charity shop in the centre of Hailsham.

The burglars forced their way though a small window on the second floor of St Wilfrid’s Hospice shop in the High Street overnight on August 31.

A safe was forced opened and £400 cash taken from both the safe and elsewhere in the shop. Some jewellery estimated to be worth £130 was also taken during the burglary.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice serves patients all over East Sussex and relies on pulic generosity to survive.
