Human remains found in Seaford car park
HUMAN remains have been discovered by a dog walker in woodland next to a car park in Seaford.
The discovery was made at around 7pm yesterday evening (Friday March 12) on a popular dog walking path just off Alfriston Road in Seaford.
Police attended the scene - and this morning officers were back at the site where they closed off the car park to the public.
The remains were taken away from the scene at around 12:45pm today (Saturday March 13) and officers are now combing the area as they carry out further searches.
It is not yet known if the remains are of a man or a woman, but its thought they may have been there for some time.
