Isn't It Bonkers climate change event returns to Seaford
A POPULAR climate change event is appealing for people who would like to participate to get in touch.
Isn't It Bonkers! will be held on a Sunday September 26 at The Downs Leisure Centre site in Seaford.
The day will offer entertainment, information and opportunities to take part in carbon friendly activities.
Previous years' participants have included national, regional and local organisations as well as businesses.
Coastal Climates Community Interest Company, a new local concern, is being set up in part to run Isn't It Bonkers!
Event organiser Jan Marshall said: "Its purpose is to promote an awareness and solutions to local issues relating to climate change and demonstrate actions that can be taken to mitigate and adapt to the expected changes.
"The event attracts a large audience from three coastal towns as it aims to emphasise both the good and bad effects of climate change against a background of a family fun day."
Anyone interested in making contact or participating should phone 07710 436 549 or email seaford.bonkers@hotmail.com.
