Knife threat as eight pals robbed
EIGHT friends were made to hand over property after being threatened with a knife in a robbery in Clair Park, Haywards Heath on Thursday evening (November 19).

The group, boys and girls aged between 14 and 17, was walking through the park to the exit by Clair Hall when it was were approached by two men at about 10.30pm.
One of the men produced a knife and threatened the victims and they handed over items. They then made off towards the Oathall Road entrance to the car park.
The first man has been described as white, aged around 20, 6' tall, skin-headed with stubble on his face and wearing a grey hooded top, blue jeans, white trainers and a silver chain. The second man is white, 5' 7" - 5' 11", slim with short brown spiky hair, wearing light blue jeans and possibly a grey V-neck long-sleeved top and white trainers.
Det Sgt Darren Lillywhite said: "This was an alarming experience for the young people involved, but I would stress that it is a very unusual incident in the town.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or who may have seen the two men in the area before or after the incident is asked to call 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1945 of 19/11.
