Lewes widow Pamela Pulley is staging a ‘carols, bottle and plate’ party for her neighbours to raise awareness of a worthy cause.
It’s The Cinnamon Trust, the national charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets.
Pamela, who is in her eighties and disabled by arthritis, says the Trust gives her invaluable support by providing volunteers to walk her much-loved companion Loki, a black alsatian.
She’s staging the party for Rotten Row residents at her home there on December 20 following the success of a similar event last year which raised £500.
It will feature a raffle with donated prizes including a home-made Christmas cake and piano playing by local musician Nicholas de Conté.
