Lewes mayor takes the plunge for Women's Aid

THE MAYOR of Lewes is taking part in a charity parachute jump.

Councillor Amanda Dean will jump from an aeroplane at 13,500ft with the Tigers Parachute Display Team on July 28 - let's hope she remembers to take her off her Mayoral chains!

The jump will raise money for Women's Aid, a national domestic violence charity and The Clock Tower Sanctuary which supports young homeless people.

You can sponsor the mayor by collecting a forms from Lewes Town Hall or by visiting www.justgiving.com/
