Man assaulted in Ringmer

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Ringmer on Saturday.

Officers were called at 3.25am on Saturday (November 17) to Greater Paddocks after an altercation had taken place between a group of men, aged between 19 and 25-years-old.

Police say that during the incident one of the men, a 19-year-old local man, was struck to the forehead with a bottle, requiring several stitches.

It is believed another of the men, who is also 19, was punched.
