Man assaulted in Ringmer
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Ringmer on Saturday.
Officers were called at 3.25am on Saturday (November 17) to Greater Paddocks after an altercation had taken place between a group of men, aged between 19 and 25-years-old.
Police say that during the incident one of the men, a 19-year-old local man, was struck to the forehead with a bottle, requiring several stitches.
It is believed another of the men, who is also 19, was punched.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who saw the assaults take place or a group of men in the area, or anyone who heard anything suspicious to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 221 of 17/11 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
