Missing window cleaner Chris Fenn has been found dead.
His fully clothed body was washed up on the beach at Eastbourne.
Mr Fenn, 44, who lived in Ellenslea Road, St Leonards, was reported missing by a family member on October 22.
His Peugeot car was subsequently found parked on Eastbourne seafront.
His body was found over a week ago but formal identification had to take place and the coroner's officer only confirmed it was Mr Fenn on Monday.
He is continuing his enquiries but the police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A post mortem examination has taken place and an inquest opened and adjourned.
The Observer ran two appeals after Mr Fenn went missing and customers on his window cleaning round had expressed their concerns for him.
He had been cleaning windows in the local area for many years and was described as "a lovely man" and "one of life's nice people".
