Newhaven company welcomes US visitor
A SUCCESSFUL company in Newhaven which is developing heat recovery hybrid technology for grocery trucks had an important visitor.
Clean Power Technologies showed leading US not for profit environmental organisation Cascade Sierra Solutions around.
Cascade is well connected with the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Transport.
They also represent a number of companies with large truck fleets such as Kraft Foods.
CEO Abdul Mirtha said: "We believe that Cascade will help to introduce our technology to the EPA and other Regulatory Agencies when we are applying for the certification of our technology.
"We believe that Clean Power will benefit greatly by establishing a closer collaborative relationship with Cascade and of course any benefit that is derived through this relationship will ultimately help the economies of East Sussex and Newhaven and will put East Sussex on the map."
Clean Power Technologies is based in New Road has also been developing a heat recovery based hybrid technology for its landfill site.
The two day visit took place on Monday September 14 and Tuesday September 15.
