Olives Yard back to business after Uckfield fire

IT’S back to business as usual at Olives Yard following the fire in Uckfield High Street which made it impossible to reach their premises until today (Thursday September 6).

The Flower Shop on the corner of the High Street has re-opened as well.

Owner Lisa Hepburn is preparing to have her premises cleaned and re-painted following smoke damage but is still welcoming customers.

The traffic contra-flow currently in place will be maintained until scaffolding work is completed and this is unlikely to be before the end of next week.

The district council reminded people that Uckfield remained open for business as usual.

Shops in Olives Yard can be accessed and car parks are fully operational.
