Police appeal after £495 necklace stolen from Peacehaven jewellers

Sussex Police are seeking two men who stole a £495 necklace from a jewellers in Peacehaven.
Just after 3pm on Monday October 29 the pair went into Studio Crafts on the A259, South Coast Road, in Peacehaven and asked to look at the necklace.
They managed to distract the assistant, take the necklace out of the box and leave with it before the theft was noticed.
Both are described as being of Eastern European appearance, possibly Turkish, aged between 25 and 30, 5ft5 to 5ft6, with short dark hair.
One was slim, and was wearing dark coloured trousers, a black jacket, and a belt which had the letters ‘JVG’ on the front.
The other man was stocky build, and was wearing jeans and a denim jacket.
PC Carlie Franks said: “If you recognise these man, or saw them in Peacehaven on Monday afternoon, please call us on 101 quoting serial 0983 of 29/10.”
