Police gearing up for November 5

The annual Lewes Bonfire celebration is one of the largest bonfire events in the country and police will be on hand to minimise the risk of crime and disorder.

Monday 5 November will see thousands of people attend the event in Lewes and both Sussex Police and British Transport Police will be attending.

Additional fire crews and paramedics will be on standby to attend any incidents.
