Police make kind donation
A LOCAL church is £750 better off after a donation from Sussex Police.
The money will go towards the fund to pay for a new church hall at St Peter's Church in Offham.
The cash was taken from the Police Property Fund, which supports community projects by selling unclaimed property and goods seized from criminals.
PCSO Sally-ann Reed presented the cheque to Andrew Stewart-Roberts, the chief fund raiser. Also present were the Reverend Derek Bastide and Geoffrey Spinks the church warden.
