Wheeldon 20/60 group, is a charity that was formed 25 years ago, meeting once a month in Heathfield. They organise monthly trips across Sussex and Kent and offer a support network for members.

Jean Stapley, chairman said: " We are a small group if disabled people and carers. We are a very friendly group who look forward to out monthly meetings and outings. If we didn't get any funding some of our members would not be able to get out and about, as they do now. This is their lifeline for meeting other people and going out to places of interest.

"Our group will welcome anyone who would like to join us not only the person who is disabled but also their carers. Our meetings and outs are full of fun and laughter where disabilities are forgotten.

"We cover the whole of the Wealden area. Our meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month and our outings are on the third Tuesday of each month. For more information pleas contact me on: 01825 830955."

PCSO Paula Mackie said: "I am really pleased to be able to help this group with this donation."

The Police Property Act Fund is used to support many community projects across Sussex, mainly to do with young people. It is made possible through the selling of unclaimed found property
