SUSSEX Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are keen to trace in connection with an attack on a 20-year-old local man in the Trek Club, Blatchington Road, Seaford, shortly before 2am on Saturday January 28.

Detective constable Claire Langley said: “The identity of this man is urgently sought, given that he was in the club at around the time of the assault. We would like to talk to him in order to eliminate him from our enquiries.”

The man is described as white, about 5ft11, with dark short hair, and in his mid-twenties.

DC Langley continued: “If you know who this man is or have any information regarding the incident please call 101 quoting serial 0162 of 28/1 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
