Police wield magic wands to seek out drunk teenagers

FIVE 'wands' have been bought for police in Wealden District to find out if young people have been drinking alcohol.

The 'alcoblow' wands were bought by the Safer Wealden Partnership (SAP) for each police area in the district.

Each hand-held device sucks in air from a bottle or someone's breathe and monitors if there is alcohol present.
