Popular book shop for sale
A popular children's book shop is for sale.
Bags of Books in South Street, Lewes, has been around since 1992.
As well as being a popular choice for parents and children, it is also used by schools from all over the county.
The current owners are retiring and have put the business on the market for 89,950.
Paul Waller, co-proprietor at the shop, said: 'We have thoroughly enjoyed owning Bag of Books for five years but feel it's an opportune time to think about retirement and spending more time with our grandchildren.'
Bags of Books began in 1985 when orginal owner Angela Macpherson sold her stock at school book fairs.
The shop in the Cliffe opened in 1992 and was sold to Paul and Rachel Waller in January 2003.
Story telling events are also held at the shop and on Wednesday (September 19), Julia Donaldson, author of the bestselling children's book the Gruffalo, is expected to take part in a booksigning session.
