Radio station prepares for blast off

Lewes' Rocket FM returns to the airways and cyberspace later this month for its eighth year.

Dilly Barlow has lined up some great guests for her show, My Rocket records.

It will feature Richard Attlee, grandson of former Labour Prime Minister Clement Attlee and better known to Archers fans as the wayward Kenton Archer, Father Richard Biggerstaff, the Catholic priest of St Pancras Church, Lewes, and Tim May, the former proprietor of the Snowdrop who is now helping to run Mays General Stores in the Cliffe.

The guests will talk about themselves and choose some of their favourite music.

The programme is a favourite on Rocket, the community radio station for Lewes and the Ouse Valley, which returns October 11 on the internet and October 18 locally on 87.8 FM for the Bonfire season.
