Railway Lane photographic exhibition opens this weekend in Lewes
THE Railway Land at Lewes will be revealed in all its photographic splendour on Sunday, February 5.
Entries in a picture competition for camera enthusiasts go on show at the Linklater Pavilion from 11am-3pm.
Nearly 70 photographs of the nature reserve will be on display, featuring all seasons and everything from landscapes to wildlife. Snappers have been busy in the four different categories and three age groups.
The entries can be viewed until February 19 (11am-3pm), excluding Mondays, and will be accompanied by a professional exhibition of wildlife photographs takn on the Railway Land.
The competition will be judged by a professional photographer, but there is the opportunity for visitors to vote for their particular favourites in the ‘People’s Choice’.
Winners in the event, sponsored by HA Baker Ltd (Lewes) and Buckland Photographic (Seaford), will be announced on Sunday, February 12.
