Road closed after car overturns
AN overturned car caused a road to be closed this morning.
Queues continued for about an hour on the A259 at Bishopstone, near Seaford after the incident at about 8.15am.
Emergency services attended the scene after a car rolled over.
The female driver, who was the sole occupant of the car, was treated at the scene by paramedics for cuts to the head, minor bruises and shock, but was not taken to hospital.
Police initially closed off the road but it was reopened at around 8.45am and traffic is now moving freely.
