Rotary club of Seaford stages quiz to raise money for charity

Rotary Club of Seaford's quiz night

Rotary Club of Seaford's quiz night

A popular charity quiz organised by the Rotary Club of Seaford will be staged again this year at Seaford Head School on Friday March 22.

The group is appealing for teams of four to take part in the quiz night, which includes a two course meal, entertainment and prizes.

Last year a total of 18 teams competed in the contest, when the Welly Wanderers won the day.

Prizes should be even better than the previous competition, thanks to the club’s drive for increased sponsorship.

Rotary fundraising committee chairman Bill Pierce said: “Last year’s event was a great success even though it raised only a modest amount of money for our worthy causes.

“Everybody involved said what a fun evening it was and now we want them to come back for more.

“We’ve realised we were actually too cheap – and that the contestants will happily help us raise funds from the night with a slight increase in entry fees.”

It will cost £30 per team, or £7.50 per person to enter.

Contact Bill on 07971 611431 or piercewilliam991@gmail.com for full details and an entry form.
