WELL done to the hardy people who took part in the annual sponsored Poppy Walk from Newhaven to Seaford on a very wet Sunday September 23.
Despite the wet conditions, many turned out to make their way from Newhaven Fort to the Martello Tower.
They were raising funds for the welfare work of the Royal British Legion in Sussex.
More than £1,000 was raised by walkers from across Sussex.
It was well supported by members of St John Ambulance.

The event was organised by the Newhaven and Seaford Royal British Legion Branches.
