Serious car collision in Peacehaven

SUSSEX Police are appealing to anyone who saw a collision on Balcombe Road at the junction of Phyllis Avenue, Peacehaven on Tuesday (October 2).

A silver Vauxhall Zafira collided with a red Vauxhall Astra at 6.30pm and one man, the 18-year-old passenger of the Astra, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious injuries.

A five-year-old boy in the Zafira was treated for shock but no-one else was injured.

Anyone who saw the cars or saw what happened is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 1264 of 2/10.
