Severe weather warning for fog is issued by Met Office for East Sussex

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for fog in East Sussex tonight (Monday October 22) running into Tuesday morning (October 21).

It said the fog would become fairly extensive across many parts of England and Wales during Monday evening from 6pm and overnight into Tuesday until 11am.

Visibility will fall to 100m-300m and locally 50 metres over hills.

The public should be aware that low visibility may lead to some disruption to travel.
