As wintery conditions swept across the county today, one playful pooch in Arlington made the most of the icy weather.

Snow fell up to an inch deep in the village and the surrounding fields.

This picture, taken by Sussex Express reader Jack Shepherd, shows his pet Lobo, a cross between malamute husky and German shepherd, making the most of the snowy conditions.

Jack said: “Blizzard like conditions the snow is particularly fine, roughly 3cm. Dog walkers, horse riders out taking advantage of the beautiful scenery we have here today. Very bitter northerly wind making any outdoor adventure a challenge.”

If you have any snow pictures or videos send them into the Sussex Express via email to paul.crompton@sussexnewspapers.co.uk
