Talk to be given about Max Miller in Newhaven
A PRESENTER from Radio Brighton in 1968 will tell the story of the life and times of comedian Max Miller at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven.
John Henty will give the talk on Tuesday October 2 and it will begin at 7pm.
Max Miller (1894 -1963), from Brighton, was top of the bill in variety in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. He made films, toured in revues and music hall, and sang and recorded songs.
