Three vehicle collision near Polegate

A ROAD was closed after a three-vehicle collision near Polegate this morning, September 11.

The incident happened on the Polegate bypass westbound just east of the A22 Cophall Roundabout at 8.20am. One of the vehicles ended up in a ditch as a result of the collision.

One driver suffered back and head injuries and was taken to hospital. No one else was injured. The road re-opened at 9.55am.
