Top lawyer Penina Shepherd will share her five most important legal tips to protect every business when she speaks at Newhaven Enterprise Centre at the next Networking Hub on Thursday September 19.
Penina is a commercial solicitor and managing director of Acumen Business Law.
Her presentation will include tips on how businesses can safeguard their enterprise, such as brand protection tips, guidance on contracts, employment issues, and how to mitigate a dispute cost-effectively.
The event will be sponsored by Computer-Eyez, with all proceeds to be match-funded by The Act Foundation and donated to centres chosen by local charity, FitzRoy Newhaven.
FitzRoy runs Searchlight, which cares for adults with physical and learning disabilities.
Newhaven Enterprise Centre manager Roxanne Haid said: “This is set to be an engaging presentation that will provide SMEs with a good insight into all essential and basic legal issues.
“We’re very much looking forward to welcoming Acumen Business Law to Newhaven, and there will be plenty of opportunity for attendees to meet, network and form new business connections.”
