Traffic problems from fallen trees and surface water

Fallen trees, surface water and a failed level crossing are causing travel problems in the Sussex Express circulation area this evening (Monday December 23.

There is reported to be a fallen tree blocking the A267 in Mayfield both ways at Meres Lane.

Another fallen tree is partially blocking the A2029 Offham Road at Lewes causing problems both ways at Kingsley Road.

Surface water is affecting traffic on the A22 at Halland both ways between the B2192 and A267.

Queuing traffic is being caused by a level crossing failure on the A259 at Wallsend Road, Pevensey Bay, both ways between Church Lane and Coast Road.
