Uckfield Club is now back up and running
THE UCKFIELD Club - a special group for people with various disablements - is now back up and running. Outings are on the third Tuesday of every month. The outings and activities range from lunches, afternoon teas, visits to places of interest and just getting together for good companionship and to share information. The East Sussex Disability Association has dedicated accessible coaches with fully qualified driver attendants that provide a door to door service for members.
Club organisers try to keep costs down and simply ask for a contribution towards the transport and outings. Members participate in fundraising to help ensure the money goes further.
The East Sussex Disability Association (ESDA) is a registered charity with over 70 years of experience in supporting disabled people. ESDA is an organisation led by disabled people providing expert advice, information and practical support. They have 21 groups around the County that provide outings and activities.
If you fancy getting out and about, making new friends or if you would like to volunteer to help, please give Marianne a call at ESDA on 01323 514531, email marianne.colliard@esda.org.uk
