Uckfield Lions president Graham Russell handed over equipment including drugs, oxygen and a defibrillator to the Newick-based team of Community First Responders, a team trained in life support by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

The Lions had paid for the equipment to the tune of £2,000 and it is the second similar donation they have made to the unit.
