Upper Dicker school boy films with Bob Hoskins, Kristian Kiehling and Kenny Dalglish
WHAT CONNECTS celebrities Bob Hoskins, Damian Lewis, Kristian Kiehling, Kenny Dalglish and the Attaturk Football stadium in Turkey?
The answer is Perry Eggleton, aged 11, a first year student and drama scholar at St Bede’s Senior School in Upper Dicker.
He has just spent three months filming on location in London, Paris, Turkey and the famous Elstree studios for his role as the young hero Will, in the soon to be premiered film of the same name.
The film is about a young Liverpool FC fan’s determination to make it to the biggest football match of the year, the Champions League Final in Istanbul, to honour his dead father’s dream.
Perry was able to act with big star actors during the film.
He said: “Bob hoskins is a really nice man, and very funny.”
The film premiers in Liverpool on October 16, and goes on general release soon after.
Perry hopes to make his career in acting and for three months appeared as one of Fagin’s gang in the West End production of Oliver.
