A PUBLIC consultation about a controversial plan to allow the Cuckmere Estuary to flood was launched this week (Tuesday June 9).
The Cuckmere Estuary Partnership wants people's views on the best way to manage the iconic landscape.
Future options could include creating salt marshes and mudflats which could attract wildlife and boost tourism.
The Sussex Express spoke to Partnership officer Dr Kate Cole to find out more about the options for this important tourist attraction.
