Man, 24, dies from his injuries after A26 crash

A 24-year-old man who was seriously injured in a collision on the A26 at Beddingham last week has sadly died from his injuries.

The man, from Barcombe, near Lewes, had been driving a silver Mazda 2 south on the A26 on Wednesday (November 25) when it was in collision with a white Audi A4.

He was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he died on Friday (November 27). He has not been formally identified at this time.

Any witness to the collision is asked to contact Sussex Police at collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting Operation Kaelon.
