Seaford Museum’s Market and Fund Day will take place on Sunday August 4 from 11am to 3.30pm.
The day will feature numerous stalls selling locally made crafts, bric a brac and there will also be children’s entertainment.
Seaford Martello Rotary Club will provide a refreshment tent for visitors and will also be running a large tombola stall.
All money raised will be going to local charities.
Rotary will provide the pa system and background music for the event.
Local organisations such as Newhaven Coastwatch and the Bonfire Societies will also be there.
Entry costs £1 for adults and 50p for children.
The museum will be open throughout and they hope to have the archive open in the afternoon.
David Swaysland from Seaford Museum said: “It’s very important to us as way of raising cash to cover the running costs of the building and the collections.
“Raising money this way allows us to keep our normal museum admission charges to a minimum.”
