There were stalls and activities for all the family and people turned up in force in the sunny and clear weather.
Beautiful themed hampers took pride of place in a prize draw and the novelty dog show from 2pm attracted pooches aiming to impress the judges with their credentials as best cross breed, prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, best veteran, junior handler, Irish brace, waggiest tail and best six legs.
There were tractor rides on the Meadow, a bouncy castle and special children’s area.
Bottle and chocolate tombolas attracted dozens of hopefuls.
St Dunstan’s bellringers organised a barbecue, a bar and a Pimms stall while tea, cakes and home produce was on sale in the Scout and Guide Hall.
Funds were raised in support of vital support for the village churches.
