Seaford Head School students entered a national competition to write 100 word monologues based on a celebrity or fictional character.

The challenge was to write an imaginative speech in a condensed style. Students came up with a range of monologues, from Christano Ronaldo to Nicholas Nickleby. The students’ work was submitted and 40 were selected for publication. A school spokesman said: “This is a great achievement and the students should be very pleased.”
