A COURSE aims to get Seaford dads off the sofa for some light exercise.
Fitter Dads is run in association with Cradle Hill Community Primary School to give advice on nutrition and health and cater for different levels of fitness.
Headteacher Gianni Bianchi said if dads were eating more healthily and doing more exercise they would be a good role model for pupils.
Fitter Dads also has the support of Wellness Coach Sue van Heuvelen, who has already helped many people lose weight and improve their health at Seaford’s Wellness Centre and will be advising on nutrition.
Lloyds Pharmacy, County Oak Medical Centre will offer the chance for a diabetes test.
Dads taking part will also be given swimming vouchers from Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre.
The dad who clocks up the most steps using a pedometer will win tickets to Drusillas.
A Fitter Mums course is set to start soon. To sign up email Mark Argent at email@example.com.
