National Youth Jazz Orchestra to play Chelwood Gate

MEMBERS of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra will play at Chelwood Gate on March 17.

The JD Quartet is scheduled to perform at the Elephant Cafe in furniture, food and music venue Trading Boundaries. Organisers say the quartet brings together some of the finest and most exciting players from the Orchestra.

With their love and feel for playing together, they have hit the stage to perform all styles of jazz. Lead by upright bass and electric bass player Joe “JD” Downard, the JD Quartet performs a wide range of standards, as well as original work.

This talent has already earned them regular performances at Ronnie Scotts so people are advised not to miss the chance to see them live and local.

Tickets cost £39.00 including a two course meal. Standing tickets cost £10.00. Buy tickets online at: www.tradingboundaries.com or call: 01825 790200.
