Young people aged 18 to 25 are being invited to join a 12-week-long course aimed at making positive changes to their lives.
The SkillXtrax course is designed for young people who are ready to make positive changes in their lives and may just need that extra support or push.
It runs on Tuesday and Wednesday all day and Thursday mornings and incorporates a holistic approach to learning. Sessions involve sexual health, cooking, creative writing, counselling, confidence building, learning to live a healthy life in body and mind, studio sessions, sports and fitness including free gym passes and two residential trips. The course is free and begins on September 30. It takes place at the Xtrax Young People’s Hub in Harold Place. For more information visit www.xtraxeducation.org or call 722529.
