Newhaven Chamber of Commerce holds Summer Bastille Day Barbecue in pub

NEWHAVEN Chamber of Commerce held its Summer ‘Bastille Day’ Barbecue on Saturday July 14 at the Hope Inn in Newhaven.

Chamber members welcomed several ‘French’ guests to their celebrations including – Napoleon, Marie Antoinette, and assorted onion and garlic sellers.

Their hosts Shem and Liz from the Hope Inn provided a gastronomic feast, Paul Boswell and his excellent ‘Big Band’ from Maestro Academy in Newhaven provided the music and Chris Nicholls from CN Magic entertained them with his ‘guillotine’ and other tricks.

The Newhaven Chamber of Commerce is a business networking group which organises various business events throughout the year including presentations, exhibitions, social functions and has a weekly business breakfast club.
