SEAFORD Museum will host a talk by well known Brighton columnist Adam Trimingham called On The Buses on Wednesday, October 19.
Brighton and Hove buses are named after well known people and inside the buses you can find out more information about the vehicle’s namesake.
Adam will tell the stories of some of these people and will take suggestions for a prominent Seafordian to have his or her name used in this way.
The talk begins at 7.30pm in the Martello Tower in the Esplanade.
Entry is £2 or £1 for museum members.
The other event is for children.
There will also be Half Term Halloween Fun when children aged between four and eight-years-old can take part in craft activities with a Halloween theme.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and vice-versa; adults must be accompanied by children.
Normal entry fees apply: £1.50 for an adult, 50p for a child and £1 for concessions.
The museum summer season comes to an end when the clocks change on Sunday October 30.
Winter opening times then apply until Easter.
They are Sundays and Bank Holidays only (except Christmas day) from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
Group visits and archive searches may be arranged by appointment.
