A Christmas tree was donated to Peacehaven Children’s Centre by Paradise Park in Newhaven.

The container Norway spruce has been decorated by the children and will be a great addition for the centre’s gardening club.

Peacehaven community development worker Hayley Cox said: “We are hoping to start a gardening club once a month in the New Year to make our garden a more attractive space for the children to enjoy and what better to start this than with a living Christmas tree.

“The children can decorate the tree now and watch how it grows through the seasons.”

The centre provides a wide range of services and support for families with under fives including Parent and Baby/Toddler Drop Ins, Child Health

Clinic and Parenting Courses.
