Organist’s recital in aid of repairs
to church

The Sunday recital series at St Michael’s Church, Lewes, continues this weekend with an organ performance by David Ollosson at 3pm on October 6.

David combines a non-musical career in education with his life as a pianist and organist.

He was for many years organist at Sussex University where he gave weekly recitals and, until recently, he was accompanist to New Sussex Singers.

Works by Cesar Franck and Jean Langlais form part of Sunday’s recital. The programme also includes Bach’s ‘St Anne’ Prelude and the hauntingly beautiful Benedictus by Max Reger.

Admission to the event is free and there will be a retiring collection in aid of church repairs.
